This performance layout provides excellent turbocharger accessibility and creates the aggressive engine-bay configuration desired by many Ford 2.3 turbo enthusiasts.

DESIGNED WITH TURBO ACCESS IN MIND
The center-mount orientation was developed to improve access to the turbocharger compared with tightly packaged factory-style arrangements.
Depending upon the final vehicle and turbo configuration, this layout can substantially simplify turbocharger service and removal.
38MM EXTERNAL WASTEGATE INCLUDED
Unlike our manifold-only configuration, THIS COMBO INCLUDES A 38MM EXTERNAL WASTEGATE.

When routing the external wastegate discharge back into the downpipe, a suitable braided flex section must be incorporated into the wastegate dump/recirculation tube to accommodate engine movement and thermal expansion.
