TIG-Welded 321 Stainless Steel Hot Side
Turbo components located behind the Audi 2.7T engine operate in an extremely demanding high-temperature environment. This system uses 321 stainless steel hot-side construction with TIG-welded fabrication for a performance-oriented single turbo installation.
The large 2-inch up-pipe routes exhaust flow toward the single turbocharger. The assembly includes two primary O2 sensor bung provisions with plugs, with the EGT provisions deleted as part of the single turbo configuration.
3.5 Inch Two-Piece High-Flow Downpipe
A serious single turbo setup requires an appropriately sized exhaust path. This kit includes a massive 3.5-inch two-piece downpipe designed around the rear-positioned single turbo configuration.
The downpipe incorporates an additional O2 bung for a wideband O2 sensor together with provisions / plugs for the secondary oxygen sensors.
44mm V-Band External Wastegate System
Boost control is handled through the included 44mm V-band external wastegate and 1.75-inch atmospheric wastegate dump tube.
The turbo system was designed around the appropriate V-band turbocharger and wastegate configuration. Verify compatibility before substituting different turbocharger or wastegate components.

Units were designed for usage of PTE (Precision) Vband Turbine Housings & the Tial 44mm MVR wastegate (standard Tial 44mm will not fit!).
