 WHAT DOES A WASTEGATE DUMP TUBE DO

An external wastegate controls turbocharger boost by diverting a portion of exhaust gas away from the turbine when the desired boost level is reached.

That diverted exhaust gas needs somewhere to go. The wastegate dump tube provides a dedicated exhaust path away from the external wastegate.

This XS-POWER dump tube routes the discharged exhaust gases downward, helping move extreme exhaust heat away from components in the upper engine bay.

 ATMOSPHERIC DUMP OR ROUTE IT BACK INTO THE DOWNPIPE

For an atmospheric wastegate dump setup, the tube can be used as part of a system that vents wastegate exhaust separately from the main exhaust. This produces the aggressive, unmistakable sound associated with an open external wastegate under boost.

Prefer a recirculated configuration? Additional piping can be welded to this dump tube so a qualified fabricator can route the wastegate discharge into a compatible downpipe or exhaust system.
